Event Description

The International & Indonesia Carbon Capture and Storage (IICCS) Forum 2026 is a premier platform connecting policymakers, industry leaders, investors, researchers, and technology providers to accelerate the development of the carbon capture and storage (CCS) industry across Indonesia and the Asia-Pacific. Under the theme "Advancing Indonesia's CCS Project Deployment: Driving Policy Alignment, Regional Collaboration, and Sustainable Carbon Economy," the forum promotes strategic dialogue, investment opportunities, and cross-border collaboration to support large-scale CCS deployment.

Indonesia has strengthened its commitment to CCS through the implementation of Presidential Regulation No. 14/2024 and Ministerial Regulation No. 16/2024, providing a robust regulatory framework that enhances investment certainty and project development. Combined with the country's vast geological storage capacity, these milestones position Indonesia as a strategic regional hub for CCS.
