Event Description

Palm Oil Economic Review and Outlook Seminar (R&O) is an annual event organised by MPOB with the main objective to disseminate information on the performance of the Malaysian oil palm industry and to forecast its performance for the current year. This seminar will also focus on issues and challenges as well as proposed solutions and actions to ensure the well-being and sustainability of the Malaysian oil palm industry. This seminar provides the platform to discuss and exchange views in further strengthening the role of palm oil in the global oils and fats.

 

The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) is pleased to announce the Palm Oil Economic Review & Outlook Seminar 2025, scheduled for 14 January 2025, in Royale Chulan Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Themed ‘Enhancing Palm Oil Competitiveness through Green Economic Initiatives’, this event is expected to gather over 300 participants from the oil palm sector and broader oils and fats industry. Attendees will include R&D personnel, planters, millers, traders, manufacturers, exporters, economists, policy makers, and academicians, representing a comprehensive cross-section of industry professionals.
