IGEM 2026 FROM GREEN SOLUTIONS TO GLOBAL IMPACT

KUALA LUMPUR, 22 September 2026 – The International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition and Conference Malaysia (IGEM) 2026 returns from 7 to 9 October with the theme “Race Towards Net Zero: Action Beyond Boundaries”. Held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, the 17th edition of IGEM will showcase how businesses, communities and industries are turning sustainability commitments into practical solutions, technologies and opportunities across the green economy.
Led by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES) and co-organised by the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC), IGEM 2026 aims to generate RM22.5 billion in potential business leads, attract more than 60,000 visitors, host approximately 450 exhibitors and feature participation from more than 50 countries.
The exhibition brings together a mix of local and international exhibitors, reflecting the breadth of innovation and collaboration taking place across the green economy. For the first time, IGEM 2026 will introduce the Sustainable Lifestyle Showcase, bringing sustainability closer to everyday life through products and solutions spanning personal care, fashion, food, beauty and lifestyle.
Among the exhibitors are global names such as L’Oréal Groupe, The Body Shop, Fujifilm and Touch ’n Go, alongside circular solutions company Remadesia and a diverse line-up of local and international sustainable fashion and lifestyle brands, including Siti Khadijah. The showcase will culminate in a fashion show on 8 October, produced by MTHEMOVEMENT KINGS and led by Dr Simplicio Michael Luis (“M”), spotlighting how fashion can embrace sustainability, circularity and more responsible production.
The exhibition will also spotlight opportunities emerging from the green economy, including green jobs and skills, giving visitors a closer look at the evolving roles, capabilities and career pathways that are supporting the transition towards a more sustainable and low-carbon economy.
Another key feature is the Journey to Net Zero Hall, offering visitors an end-to-end view of the green transformation ecosystem, from technologies and solutions that support decarbonisation to the innovation, financing, partnerships and enabling systems needed to turn net-zero ambitions into action.
Visitors can also step into IGEM's mini cinema, where short sustainability-focused films from government agencies, NGOs and social enterprises will bring to life the people, ideas and stories behind real-world solutions.
IGEM 2026 will also feature a Sustainable Mobility Showcase, presenting the future of green transportation beyond electric vehicles. The showcase will highlight solutions across charging infrastructure, battery technologies, smart energy integration and emerging mobility solutions, reflecting the growing convergence between transportation, energy and digital technologies.
Beyond showcasing technologies and products, IGEM 2026 is strengthening its focus on business, investment and market access. The event will also feature an Investor Lounge, designed to connect green businesses with potential investors, financial institutions and other stakeholders that can support their financing needs and business growth.
The Business Matching and Networking programme, undertaken in collaboration with the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), will further strengthen IGEM’s role as a platform for investment and international market access. The programme will facilitate potential investment and export opportunities, while enabling exhibitors and visitors to exchange ideas, explore commercial opportunities and establish strategic
partnerships.
With these initiatives, IGEM aims to evolve from a technology showcase into a marketplace that connects solutions with buyers, investors and partners - turning ideas into commercial opportunities and real-world impact. It enables businesses to improve efficiency and decarbonisation, investors to discover emerging opportunities, governments to advance resilient and sustainable communities, and the public to explore practical sustainability solutions.
Beyond the exhibition floor, visitors can engage with policymakers, industry leaders, academics, innovators and sustainability experts through Pocket Talks, Fireside Chats, Partner Forums and conferences, offering insights into emerging trends, technologies and opportunities across the green economy.
Visitors can also enjoy special travel rates from Malaysia Airlines, Firefly and Grab, making travel to IGEM 2026 this year more convenient and accessible for local and international visitors, exhibitors and business delegates.
From discovering practical green solutions and connecting with exhibitors, to exploring investment and business opportunities, gaining industry insights and learning how sustainability is being translated into action, IGEM 2026 offers visitors a platform to explore what is next for the green economy.
