Jakarta, June 2026 — As Indonesia’s Official International Aviation, Aircraft, and Airport Technology Event, Indo Aerospace 2027 Expo & Forum strengthens its role in connecting the aerospace and aviation industries through international engagement and strategic collaboration. Ahead of the upcoming exhibition, Indo Aerospace continues to expand its global outreach by engaging with industry stakeholders, technology providers, and strategic partners across industry platforms and networking initiatives.

Indonesia is strengthening its position as a future regional aerospace maintenance hub through the government’s plan to develop a dedicated Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility for C-130 Hercules aircraft at Kertajati International Airport. As no comparable Hercules maintenance facility currently exists within the ASEAN region, the initiative is expected to support growing aircraft servicing demand across Asia-Pacific while reinforcing Indonesia’s role within the regional aerospace industry. The development is further supported by the planned establishment of 84.2 hectare Aerospace Park dedicated to aviation maintenance and logistics activities. As the Asia-Pacific MRO market continues to grow, this initiative is also expected to create broader opportunities for investment, industrial collaboration, and long-term aerospace industry growth in Indonesia.

Supporting this direction, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, also stated that Kertajati is being developed into an integrated aerospace industry hub through the development of Aerospace Park and expanded collaboration between BIJB Kertajati and Indonesian aerospace industry.

Indo Aerospace continues to position itself as a strategic meeting platform for aerospace manufacturers, aviation companies, defence technology providers, MRO specialists, government institutions, and industry professionals from around the world. The upcoming edition will feature product exhibitions and product demonstrations of aerospace and defence technologies, allowing participants to gain direct insight into emerging innovations and industry developments. Demonstrating its growing international participation, the exhibition is expected to welcome approximately 1,200 exhibitors from 60 countries, including 35 international country pavilions, and 47,000 professional visitors.

Indo Aerospace, incorporating with Indo Defence and Indo Marine Expo & Forum, is scheduled to take place on 12–15 May 2027 at Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE), PIK 2, Tangerang, Indonesia. As Indonesia’s Official Tri-Service Defence, Aerospace, Maritime, and Security Event, the exhibition will bring together global industry leaders, technology providers, government representatives, and key stakeholders to explore future collaboration opportunities and contribute to the continued advancement of defence and aerospace industries across Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
