Jakarta, June 2026 — With aviation infrastructure and airport development playing an increasingly strategic role in supporting regional growth, industry collaboration has become essential to building a more connected and competitive aerospace ecosystem. Ahead of its upcoming edition, Indo Aerospace 2027 Expo & Forum, continues to engage with industry stakeholders across international platforms to foster partnerships and support the advancement of the aviation sector.

Indonesia’s commitment to strengthening its aviation ecosystem is reflected in ongoing efforts to integrate infrastructure development with broader economic and industrial growth initiatives. A key example is the accelerated development of Kertajati and the Rebana Metropolitan Area as an interconnected aviation and industrial ecosystem, supported by the establishment of Aerospace Park, aviation industries, logistics facilities, and other supporting infrastructure. Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, emphasised that infrastructure development should be closely linked with surrounding economic activities to maximise its impact and create sustainable growth opportunities. These initiatives underscore Indonesia’s growing focus on enhancing its competitiveness as a regional aviation and aerospace destination while fostering investment, innovation, and industry collaboration.
