Jakarta, June 2026 - As Indonesia’s Official Tri-Service Defence Event, Indo Defence 2027 Expo & Forum continues to play a pivotal role in fostering international cooperation, facilitating technology exchange, and creating business opportunities across the defence industry. With more than ten successful editions to its name, the exhibition connects government representatives, military officials, industry leaders, technology providers, and research organisations from around the world, contributing to the advancement of Indonesia’s defence sector while providing access to opportunities across Southeast Asia’s growing defence market.

Indonesia’s defence sector continues to demonstrate strong growth potential, driven by the government’s commitment to strengthening national defence capabilities and accelerating the development of a more resilient defence industrial base. Recent initiatives to expand domestic production capacity, encourage technology development, and advance the downstream processing of strategic minerals, including copper, are expected to support a broader range of defence manufacturing activities, from ammunition and military electronics to communications systems and other advanced defence technologies. As Indonesia seeks to enhance local capabilities while fostering greater collaboration with international partners, the sector is creating growing opportunities for technology providers, manufacturers, maintenance specialists, and defence companies looking to establish strategic partnerships and participate in the long-term development of the defence sector.
