Largest ever International Maritime Exhibition Sea Japan 2024 Opens in Tokyo in April New Event: Offshore & Port Tech



Informa Markets Japan Co., Ltd. will hold the international maritime exhibition "Sea Japan 2024" and the co-located exhibition "Offshore & Port Tech 2024" at Tokyo Big Sight  exhibition center from 10-12 April.

 

Sea Japan, which has been held biennially since 1994 this year will celebrate its 30th  anniversary, will be the largest ever, with the exhibition area expanded by 1.5 times since the last time it was held in 2022. In addition to the shipbuilding, marine equipment and other technologies and services for the shipping industry, this year's event will also feature a new “Offshore & Port Tech” exhibition area focusing on offshore and port technology. In total, 600 companies from 30 countries and regions will exhibit in the exhibition, which is expected to attract 20,00 visitors over the three-day period.

Highlights

Exhibition:

600 exhibitors (2022: 350 exhibitors, 2018: 580 exhibitors). The largest-ever number of  exhibitors (the exhibition hall has be expanded from two halls to three halls). 10 overseas pavilions, and exhibitors from a total of 30 countries and regions. Pavilions: China, South Korea, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, UK, Turkey, Poland, USA.


More than exhibitor 80 presentation seminars, including numerous of presentations by first-time exhibiting companies.

 

Seminars:  

A total of 27 seminars and 75 lecturers will be held.

Special Joint Event: 

The Japan Coast Guard's largest-ever survey vessel “Heiyo” will be open for inspection alongside Sea Japan
