The map shows all electricity generating stations (fossil fuel and renewables)  together with site operator and generating capacity. Apart from Conventional generators the map shows all wind, hydro, biomass, biogas and solarPV projects in Scotland along with their status. An additional feature is that offshore wind, wave and tidal exploration licences and leases are included. All this is shown against a background of the electricity transmission and distribution system in Scotland from 400kv down to the 38kv distribution system together with substations.
